ABOUT

This is an exhibition of work by UniSA Industrial and Product Design students from the Graduate Diploma of Design and Master of Design Programs as well as final year students from the Bachelor of Design (Product Design).

Product and industrial designers do more than merely make things look attractive - designers solve problems. Designers go beyond those issues that are purely skin-deep. Our daily lives consist of a series of experiences where the work of designers is on show. The design of your mobile phone, the interface of your banking app and the comfort of your office chair are all examples of the work completed by designers.

Designers are responsible for matters of human experience, interaction, usability, integration of technology, production and much more in both the physical and virtual worlds. This year's exhibition features student-designed products from diverse fields including wheelchairs, automotive, furniture and consumer products. The students featured in this year's exhibition will be designing future experiences that respond to cultural and technical problems that are yet to be revealed.
