A keen drawer and creator, Chris worked 19 years in hospitality, however following his daughter’s birth, decided to pursue a family friendly career and answer his creative calling. Juggling study, work and fatherhood has meant the road’s been long, but his drive to learn and perform at his best has not only carried him through, but seen him win a national sunglasses competition along the way. He’s become increasingly interested in sustainability and how it fits with his career as a designer. On completion, he’d like to gain industry experience or pursue personal design projects, and hasn’t ruled out the possibility of further study down the track - after he’s given his family a break!
