My name is Yao Xiao and there are the main reasons why I am doing Master of Design – Industrial Design at University of South Australia. First, I am passionate about industrial design, especially sketching and model making as two parts of the design process. Second, I would like to develop and gain more professional skills and knowledge of industrial design, such as CAD and presentation skills and materials and manufacturing knowledge. Third, I want to work as an industrial designer when I have finished my degree and became more skilled and this is also the ideal goal for my future career.
