I’m an up and coming designer who loves design as it merges creativity and functionality, allowing us to express ideas visually while solving real-world problems. The ability to transform concepts into tangible experiences really excites me to reach further and further, and the impact that thoughtful design can have on people’s lives inspires me to try my hardest in creating meaningful products. The constant nature of the evolving world of design keeps me engaged and constantly learning.
I am developing a Wi-Fi clock in collaboration with Shapely for implementation at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH). A Wi-Fi clack is a timekeeping device that automatically synchronises the time via an internet connection. It features a main housing that contains the PCB and is adaptable to various mounting options, such as walls and desks, creating a modular design. The implementation of this clock will enable doctors and nurses to quickly and confidently relay the exact time from anywhere, enhancing operational efficiency and ultimately facilitating faster patient discharges.
