My name is Siddharth Joshi and I am currently studying Industrial Design at UNISA, Adelaide Australia. Throughout my undergraduate engineering education in India (my home country), I have been fascinat¬ed by designing innovative products for mass production. I love hand drawing, 3D CAD modelling and creating rapid prototypes for product development. My vision is to promote the awareness of Industrial Design to the public. In the future, I plan to work in the consumer goods industry sector.

Project Showcase

The aim of this project was to design a mobile recycle bin for Adelaide’s CBD and collect a specific category of waste. The mobile recycle unit has been designed to be towed by an e-Bike and collect specific waste including e-Waste, light globes, plastic bread tags, smart phones, X-rays, optical glasses etc. It is designed in accordance with user behaviour, durability and ease of use. Working with The City of Adelaide Council, the project is designed to improve sustainable waste management at root level. The goal is to reduce waste going to landfill, make the waste easier to collect and educate and encourage the public to contribute to making the city cleaner.
