Hi, I’m James, currently completing third year product design at UniSA. Design has intrigued me from an early age, fascinated by both aesthetics and mechanisms. For the final year project I have focused on the brand Nespresso, known for their luxurious, easy to use product range. The research stage of this project highlighted pain points in the cleaning aspect of Nespresso products particularly the milk frother. My design of a Nespresso Enhancing kit, a multitool that elevates the Nespresso experience for users. The rotary brush and oscillating polishing tool provide a convenient and easy to use way of cleaning the product range whilst the grater attachment allows users to garnish their coffee with freshly grated chocolate further building on the sense of luxury Nespresso prides themselves on.
