Hi, I am Lawrence Healy, a final year Product design student at UniSA. Learning on the job long ago as an apprentice Fitter and Turner, I was granted the freedom to explore and iterate to find solutions. Now during my design studies, I have been able to reflect on my career experiences with new found knowledge of design methodology, such as Universal Design, a keen interest of mine. Designing a rotary tool for Cyclone has been a challenge, ensuring the rugged hard-earned reputation of the brand has been key but just as important is the usability for all abilities.
